Whatever you and your better half do, make sure you agree. Love is knowing your spouse or partner and taking time to enjoy each other. Gifts are great but as we get older, sometimes they gift gets lost in the shuffle of day to day living.
My most memorable gift from my husband didn't cost a penny. When we lived at the coast of SC, one Valentine's Day, the azaleas were blooming. While I was at work, my husband went out and collected lots of the blooms and put a small vase in every room, even the bathroom. (We had cats who didn't eat flowers!) He wrote "I love You notes" and placed with each set of flowers. The flowers are long gone but the memory of that special gift from the heart has meant more to me over the years than the gifts.
What is your most memorable Valentine's Day gift--either one you gave or received?
