These cards are in the drying press right now and will be ready for my etsy store in about a week. If you see some you like, message me.
Wow, what a fun Saturday I had! The yellow rock cress flowers were joy to make cards. I used scraps of handmade paper as accents in the background and green paper to hold the flower.

As I was driving home today, I stopped to pick some yellow flowers. I recognized them as yellow rock cress from when Bob taught me about them a couple of years ago. That means that spring is really on the way.
I will be using the flowers to make cards. They are the easiest flowers to press and are beautiful on handmade paper. I can't wait to see what inspiration hits me tomorrow! Hmmm, it is Saturday morning, you say. Well, I think I will sleep right here all day, thank you very much.
A cat's carefree life...... I love working in the studio on warm days! What are you doing this fine Saturday? My motivation came this weekend with the need to create plantable seeded recycled cards for two galleries. They were out and I thought I had some in stock from last year. Wrong. I was totally out as well!
So, yesterday, I started with catnip cards because I draw funny faces and scenes. I have a few in my etsy store. Today, I made 30 cards, 10 each of lavender, zinnia, and basil. So I am happily tired and pleased with my work. |
